In 2002, Harvest Bible Fellowship was founded through the leadership of James MacDonald, Senior Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicagoland. Pastor James and his wife, Kathy, have committed their lives to the ministry of God’s Word. Today, by God’s grace, more than 110 Harvest Bible Chapels are impacting communities around the world and seeing lives transformed through the power of the gospel.

Harvest Kathmandu, Nepal
Timothy grew up in a poor Hindu family with a difficult life. His life was transformed when a missionary introduced him to the gospel and the saving work of Jesus Christ. Though persecution followed, Timothy continued to attend his church and grow his faith.
In 1988, the Lord called Timothy into the ministry and he had the privilege of serving Christ in a Baptist church. After several years of pastoring, God confirmed His will for Timothy to step out in faith and plant a church. In 2004, a small group of believers planted Nepal Missionary Church Mission.
In 2008, Pastor Timothy contacted Harvest Bible Fellowship to seek a partnership in ministry. He now serves as the Senior Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel Kathmandu in Nepal.
Even though Nepal has been declared a secular state, 95% of its population is Hindu and less than 2% are Christians. Yet these statistics and the persecution that accompanies them do not discourage Pastor Timothy or the church leadership in Nepal. He says, “Today is the day for salvation and we are working towards that end to proclaim the riches of Christ, teach God’s Word, lift high the name of Jesus in worship, and pray as we share our faith with boldness.”
